Amit Jacobi (עמית יעקבי) is a writer, performer, and filmmaker living and working in Tel Aviv and Berlin. With diverse creative pursuits, he has established himself as a thought-provoking artist known for pushing boundaries and exploring various artistic mediums.

Having completed his education at Goldsmiths University of London, where he earned an MA in Filmmaking Directing Fiction, and the Ernst Busch Academy of Drama Berlin, where he obtained a German Diplom in performing arts and puppetry, Jacobi has a solid foundation in both film and stage.

Jacobi captivates audiences with fragmented narratives that challenge conventions and delve into the complexities of the human experience. Notable works as a filmmaker include “Smoothies for Lost Souls,” a short film Jacobi wrote and directed. This dystopian comedy delves into the life of a suicidal life coach who inadvertently embarks on a journey of self-discovery. “One Room” is another compelling piece, exploring the complex dialogue between a trans man and his younger self before the transition. In “The Honoree,” he showcased his editing expertise.
